Sorry for the radio silence, folks; my professional life was disrupted this week by a POTUS visit to campus. (Can I put that on my résumé? "Kicked out of my office and my classroom by the POTUS?" Or would that be bad?) That's over now, though, so time for some tidbits!

Thanks for the link! I was fascinated when I started digging into the Watson & Crick story. Someone commented later on the opensource.com article that the Nobel Prize can't be awarded to more than 3 scientists, which really surprised me and seems like a disservice to all involved.
