		<description>A mistake I made, from time to time in my younger years, was to get all upset over bad things happening in the university.  Things which I could not influence, and, sometimes, things which had no effect on me.  This foolishness made my life less happy and productive.  Fact of the matter is that we do not live in a perfect world.  Much of what goes on is beyond our influence or control.  Those things are just part of life, and we need to suck it up and live the best we can under the circumstances.  Very occasionally, something bad will be trivial enough that we can thwart it.  We should do so.</description>
